No medication will be held over for next school year. All medication left in the nurses office will be discarded!
Important Message Regarding Immunizations!
For the 2012-2013 school year, all 8th grade students will be required to have 4 doses of the diptheria, tetanus and pertussis vaccination (Tdap, DTP or DTaP). If your child is in 6th or 7th grade this year, please check to see if they have had all 4 doses. If not, please make an appointment to update your child's vaccinations.

Are any additional shots required for middle school?
Although they are not required, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends the following vaccines for pre-teens and teens:
- Tdap (protects against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis)- required for 8th grade students for the 2012-2013 school year.
- Meningococcal
- 2nd dose of varicella (chickenpox)
- Influenza (flu)
- Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
Consult your child’s doctor regarding these vaccinations.
