Service Learning Program Has a Positive Effect on Students
Our sixth, seventh and eighth grade students have an opportunity to work within our school during one of their activity periods. Service learning opportunities include working in the classrooms with teachers, assisting in the front office or working in the library as an aide.
Students enjoy the program, because they get to help their peers and experience a real work environment by assisting the adults working around them in their assigned areas.
They are also graded based on requirments such as being on time, being courteous and helpful and having a neat, acceptable appearance.
