While studying the Great Depression Era,
Mr. Northrop’s classes also investigated the photojournalism
of Dorothea Lange.  Ms. Lange became famous taking pictures
of the people who were hardest hit by the depression.
In that vein of research, Mr. Northrop’s classes also became photojournalists and models.
This slide show features 8th graders striking a pose
with the essence of the Great Depression in mind.
