Announcements

The STCC Academy of Cosmetology will be open the following Saturdays in May: 12th and 19th from 8 am until 12 noon.

The athletic department at Strom Thurmond High School has a limited number of used helmets that have been cleaned and freshly striped and decaled. You can own your very own piece of history for $50.00 per helmet. If interested, please come to STHS and ask for Coach Scott or Coach Sawyer. Cash or money order only - these helmets are not equipped for recreational use.

The Foundation for Public Schools in Edgefield County is sponsoring the Sandra Reece Friar Scholarship Fund. The foundation is accepting donations at this time. Please send your contributions to Joel Jolly at P.O. Box 28 Edgefield, SC 29824 - please put the Sandra Reece Friar Scholarship Fund in the for line on your check or contribution ~

The STCC Academy of Cosmetology is open for business every B day from 8:30 am to 5 pm and every A day from 3:15 pm to 5 pm ~

All paraprofessionals hired must have a secondary school diploma or its recognized equivalent.

All certified teachers hired after the fall of 2002 and teaching in a program supported with Title I funds are considered highly qualifed based upon the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.
