Report Card Data Shows District Trending Upward in English and Math; District-wide Student Progress Outperforming State
For the first time in over a decade, no ECSD schools are rated “below average” or “unsatisfactory” and all are rated “average” or “good”. The 2021-22 school report card data shows an upward trend in student English Language Arts (ELA) scores. Student math scores in ECSD are increasing even as statewide math scores continue to decline. Student progress scores on 2021-22 school report cards show academic progress of all students in ELA and math when compared to other South Carolina students who initially scored at the same levels.

Trantech Radiator Products Continues Legacy of Support for STCTC Welding Education
The new donation is a Lincoln Mig 260 welding machine. The Miller Mig eventually became too expensive to repair and just as it did in 1983, Trantech Radiator Products stepped forward to support Edgefield County students with a new donation – a new Lincoln Mig 260 welding machine. Edgefield County Public Schools, STCTC, and the STCTC Welding 3-4 Class are most grateful for the legacy of support for public education provided by Trantech Radiator Products and its employees.
