Returning Student Enrollment

If you are registering a student who is currently enrolled in an Edgefield County school, you may complete your online enrollment through your Parent Portal account. If you have not created a Parent Portal account, you will receive a SnapCode letter from your child's school. This letter provides you with a unique SnapCode enabling you to complete the online process. You will then select a link 20-21 Returning Student  (20-21 Inscripción para Alumnos que Regresan). We do encourage all parents/guardians to create a parent portal account as this will keep you alerted of your child's grades and attendance during the school year. This information will be sent with your SnapCode letter which will either be mailed or delivered with your next instructional materials packet.

NEW Student Enrollment

If your child is a NEW student  to Edgefield County School District, meaning your child has never attended an Edgefield County school, or they are not currently enrolled in an Edgefield County school, you will use the 20-21 NEW Student Enrollment (20-21 Inscripción para Nuevos Alumnos) link. You will then be asked to create an account to complete the online enrollment  process.

Additional Information

It is important to remember that your child's enrollment is not complete by submitting the Online Enrollment forms by themselves. ALL students, NEW and returning are required to provide two proof of residence documents annually. These forms can be uploaded during the completion of the Online Enrollment process. Any pdf, word document or jpg picture file will be accepted. Please select the following link for more information of accepted Proof of Residence (Prueba de Residencia) documents. NEW students will also need to provide a long form birth certificate and a current immunization document. There may be other documents needed for enrollment that will be requested by your child's school. We are working to determine a process for anyone who may need assistance in completing the online enrollment forms or need to provide their documents to the school in person. More information on this will follow. 

NEW 4K Students

Students meeting one of the risk criteria creating Child Early Reading and Development Education Program (CERDEP) eligibility (documented family income 185 percent or less of federal poverty or Medicaid eligibility) and who will be four years old on or before September 1, 2020 are given priority for this program. Students not qualifying based on income may qualify based on testing. Testing information will be provided by the schools at a later time.  We do encourage all interested families to apply.

5K Students

Students entering 5K must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2020.

Instructional and Additional Fees

Edgefield County School District's instructional fees are $25 and may be paid online through e-Funds for Schools, or you may mail a check to your child’s school or call to pay by credit or debit card. The instructional fee will be waived for students who receive free lunch. Reduced lunch students instructional fee will be $12.50. 

Lunch applications for the 20-21 school year are now available at https://www.lunchapplication.com/. Lunch may be paid anytime through your e-Funds account.

Other 20-21 fee items, including club fees, program fees, band, lost book fines etc. will be added at a later time. You may currently show an outstanding balance that you may pay through your e-Funds account or by mailing a check to your child's school or call to pay by credit or debit card.
