Johnston, SC – Online student registration for returning Edgefield County School District (ECSD) students is now open for the 2023-2024 school year and available only through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. No snapcodes for 2023-2024 online student registration will be issued as a parent portal account is required for student registration.

Please note, registration for the 2023-2024 school year for students who are new to the Edgefield County School District will be facilitated and completed at the student’s home school.

A parent portal account is easily the most efficient way for ECSD parents to remain informed and updated with the very latest information and data regarding their child’s academic progress and school attendance. The parent portal makes communication with ECSD teachers effortless, while also providing access to student and school forms.

If you do not have a parent portal account, please visit https://ps.edgefield.k12.sc.us/public/home.html and click “Create Account” to establish your personal login information. Once you have input username and password information to create the parent portal account, you will then input the unique Access ID and Access Password provided by your home school to link your child’s account information. You will repeat the process to link any additional children to your account. Once Access ID and Access Passwords for all children have been entered, click the blue “enter” button at the very bottom right of the page to access your child’s data and information.

Parents of returning students who have created an ECSD parent portal account should look down the parent portal menu on the left of the page and click on “Returning Student Enrollment 2023-2024” to begin the online registration process.

The first day of the 2023-2024 school year is Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
